According to the regional monitoring conducted by the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in February 2022, 71.1% of the surveyed Kazakhstanis recognize the population in their place of residence as religious. Among them were those who note an increase in the religiosity of the population in their place of residence in recent months (26.5%) and those who believe that the population in their place of residence remains as religious as it was a fewyears earlier (44.6%).
