On May 11, a meeting with a delegation of the Russian and Eurasian Studies Program of the Fletcher School of Diplomacy and Law of Tufts University was held in the building of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed a range of issues related to regional policy and the dynamics of economic processes in Central Asia. The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the prospects for expert cooperation on a wide range of topics to strengthen academic cooperation between two countries.
During the dialogue, the Director of the KazISS Yerkin Tukumov and representatives of Tufts University discussed following issues: issues of stability and security in Central Asia, the development of new technologies in the countries of the region, energy and partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States in a wide range of areas.
Representatives of the School of Diplomacy and Law congratulated KazISS on the upcoming 30th anniversary, expressing hope for further cooperation.
