Elections full of new expectations and benchmarks, aimed at large and meaningful goals and objectives for society and the state will take place on November 20, 2022. Their main purpose is to reset the political system of society. The new times call for rapid action. There are a lot of them on the agenda, enough to see in them the main mission of purposefully proceeding from the socio-political and socio-economic reality in which our country has entered with the referendum on the adoption of a package of constitutional amendments held this summer. This is the whole essence of the ongoing reforms in general and, in particular, the extraordinary presidential elections.
Along with this, with the appointment of the election date the expectations of changes, which were predicted already at the beginning of the year by the representatives of the expert community, are growing. As it is known at that time the probability of holding presidential elections this year, holding parliamentary elections next year, and in general the scenario of intensification of political processes aimed at the further implementation of a larger package of political reforms were already discussed.
At the same time, the current political season began with the cultivation of a new political tradition in the country, without backroom games in politics, with a clear vision and intention to form a more stable political model to ensure the stability and sustainability of Kazakhstan.
As Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated, a new trusting mandate of the people is necessary for the successful implementation of comprehensive reforms on the way to creating a just Kazakhstan. This is the quintessence of the upcoming presidential elections. They will become not only an impulse for the political process, but also a challenge for the present authorities, the results of which will become apparent next year. For now, Kazakhstan needs consolidation of the political forces of society, unity and mutual understanding, and the entry of civil society and the authorities to a new level.
So, two months remain before the presidential elections; the circle of tasks has been defined; the start of the electoral campaign has been announced.
